Coram Boy - Adapted by Helen Edmundson from the novel by Jamila Gavin

Blood, guts, passion, bestiality, spasms, lust and luridness – and there you have it – Shattered Windscreen’s next offering to the world. We have secured the services of Zoë Watkins to lead the next assault on one the company’s favourite genres – the revenge tragedy. In this case, the mother of them all, The Revenger’s Tragedy, long attributed to Cyril Tourneur, but more recently to Thomas Middleton, verges on the absurd, frequently crossing that lovely line between the two extremes and offering a dangerous mix of black comedy and high drama.

This will be a touring piece and performances are planned in the period 20th June – 20th July 2010. The piece has been cut to a digestible length, and promises to provide both performers and audiences with an extremely bloody experience!
